 (Tunnel Bus Route)

Dan-shui (Fresh Water) Road -- Lan-cun Road

 30 AP 1990  Closed 30 AU 1996.
 6  He-nan- Road -- Tum-en Road  198-  Formerly dieselbus route 61, converted in the early 1980s. Extended to He-nan-zhong Rd from Liu-Yan in 1999.
 8   Yang-pu Bridge -- San-men Rd. Jiang'wan'wu'jiao'chang (Jiang'wan Pentagon Place)  198-  Formerly dieselbus route 60, converted in the early 1980s. Extended from Ning-guo Road to San-men Rd in 1999(?).
 11  Lao-xi-men (a circle route)  19--  The counterclockwise part of the route was discontinued due to a one-way road pattern in places. 1999. This is route has reverted back to a two-way circular route. (Old West Gate). The clockwise branch of route 11 has been replaced by super capacitor buses on 28 AU 2006. This replacement is experimental and if successful will become permanent.
 13  Dr. Sun Yat-san Park -- Ti-lan-qiao  19--  Extended from Cao-jia-du 5 SE 2002. This is extension was short, but it has been very successful.
 14   Dr. Sun Yat-san Road N -- Dong-sin-quio.  5 NO 1914  Extended from Da-hu-shan. #14 was the first trolley route in Sanghai, and it is the longest continuously operated route in the world.
 15  Tian- mu Road East (old Shanghai Rail-way Stn.) -- Shanghai Gymnasium  19--  17 JN 2003 some routing changes were implemented, but the termini were unaffected.
 17  Lu-pu Bridge -- Tong-bei Road  19--  Now the second longest in length in Shanghai. A few route changes have ben implemented in the past few years. The most recent one occure 28 JN 2003, when the soutern terminus was extended to foot of the new Lu-pu Bridge.
 18  Lu Xun Park -- Gao'xiong Road  1 DE 1926  Now closed, to be reopened with the new Super-Capacitor trolleys (SWB series). The test bus may be running later in 2003.
 19  Ao-men (Macao) Road -- Kun-ming Road  19--  Longest running etb line in Shanghai in terms of time. Some routing changes implemented on 17 JN 2003 without affecting the termini.
 20  Dr. Sun Yet San Park -- Bund (at Jiu-jiang Road)  19--  
 21  Jing-an Monestery (Temple) -- Liang-cheng Estate  19--  Extended on 8 JL 2001 to Liang-cheng from Lu Xun Park, now the longest trolley line in Shanghai. As of November, it has been classified as a "long haul" route. The fare is 50% than that on a flat route. See Notes on Shanghai Rtes 21, 22 and 25.
 22  Min-hang Road -- Tu-men Road  19--  Cut back from Shi-liu-pu (Shanghai Main Ship Dock)  The eastern branch of #22 was the same as the eastern branch of #25. This was due to a new one-way street cuplet. Extended from Jun-gong to Tu-men on 5 SE 2003. A diesel bus (route 22) covers the discontinued section. See Notes on Shanghai Rtes 21, 22 and 25.
 23  Xin-kang-li -- Gao-xiong Road  19--  
 24  Yi-chang Road -- Bund at Fu-xing Road East  19--  
 25  South Chong-ming Road -- Jun-gong Road  19-- See Notes on Shanghai Rtes 21, 22 and 25.
 28  Ti-lan-qiao -- Zhong-yuan.  19--  New route replacing part of old route 28, but diverging to Lan'hua over new overhead wires, and extended from Lan-hua.
 126  Hong-qiao Road -- Xin-kai-hê  19--  Formerly electric trolleybus route 26
