Our laboratory is well equipped with standard molecular biology equipment, including two chemical hoods, a DNA synthesizer, phosphorimager, UV spectrometer, PCR machines, and a microcentrifuge. A dark room, and a temperature controlled room are part of our laboratory suite. Our six lab benches all have ample desk space with ready computer access. Core facilities (such as autoclaves and preparative centrifuges are a short walk down the hall.
ABI 392 DNA synthesizer: We make a lot of DNA in our laboratory and a DNA synthesizer is essential for our work.
Ribozyme kinetics is an important part of our work and our Storm MD phosphorimager allows for accurate quantification of radio-labelled reactions
