The Math Catcher Program was privileged to visit Haa Huu Payak School situated within the traditional territory of the Tseshaht First Nation.
At the beginning of our visit we were invited to join a very moving morning assembly in which all students and staff were singing a traditional song. After that we met with students from Ms. Rose Doerksen's Grade 5/6 class.
A beautiful school with wonderful students and staff!
We are particularly thankful to Ms. Sheena Falconer for organizing our visit to Port Alberni.
