On Thursday, August 15th, the Department gathered to show our appreciation for all of the time and energy that our undergraduate volunteers have invested during the 2023-2024 academic year. Undergraduate volunteer Research Assistants, Linguistics Student Union executives, and members of the LSU who have taken the time to volunteer were honoured during a luncheon in RCB 7402. 

Department Chair Dr. Panayiotis Pappas expressed our deepest thanks to all of the volunteers and provided words of encouragement for their continued efforts. The dedication of our undergraduate students and the hard work that they do each year is very important to the Department. Their contributions are incredibly significant, and the feedback that they provide regarding our programs of study, research activities, and community outreach is invaluable.
