About

Elijah Lazar attended SFU for his bachelor’s degree. He majored in French with an extended minor in Linguistics. He is interested in sociolinguistics and passionate about multilingualism. Working under the supervision of Dr. Suzanne Hilgendorf, Elijah is studying the global phenomenon of World Englishes, notably in multilingual contexts. Outside of academia, he is a proud member of the SFU wrestling team where he has competed in NCAA wrestling for the past 4 years. Elijah's other interests include language learning, travel and skiing.
