Biography

Margaret Grant completed her Ph.D. dissertation on the parsing and interpretation of comparative constructions at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2013. Her research focuses on experimental investigations of sentence comprehension, including semantic processing and ambiguity resolution. Dr. Grant is also interested in the relationship between psycholinguistics and linguistic theory, and how these two fields may inform one another. At SFU, Dr. Grant teaches in Linguistics and in the Cognitive Science Program.
