L.V. Rogers Secondary School, Nelson, B.C

Math Catchers Kathy and Veselin visited L.V. Rogers Secondary School in Nelson, B.C. Veselin had a lively conversation with Ms. Naka's Grade 11 Precalculus class. We talked about Simon Fraser University and the transition from high school to a postsecondary institution. Ms. Naka mentioned the fact that the current SFU President graduated from LVR. In addition we discussed the role of mathematics in our everyday lives and particularly the creative side of math.
