Kirkus Reviews honours Eldon Yellowhorn

Dr. Eldon Yellowhorn, Professor and Department Chair of Simon Fraser University’s (SFU) Department of Indigenous Studies, has received accolades from Kirkus Reviews, an influential and respected book industry magazine, for his new children's book.

Kirkus named Sky Wolf's Call: The Gift of Indigenous Knowledge by Eldon Yellowhorn & Kathy Lowinger as one of its Best Middle-Grade Nature Books of 2022. Sky Wolf's Call was released in April 2022 by Annick Press, a Canadian children’s book publisher.

Kirkus praised Sky Wolf’s Call as “An authoritative tribute to Indigenous knowledge systems that's a must-have for every library and classroom.”
