Wayne spent his career in education, working first as a Social Studies and History teacher and later as a vice principal and principal. Over the course of the last decade, Wayne served as the career supervisor for his school district. In this position, he helped set up innovative programs for secondary students. Though he is now retired, he still does consulting work for the school district and recently finished a project for the Industry Training Authority.
