Sean is a PhD Candidate in the Frost Centre for Canadian Studies & Indigenous Studies at Trent University. His PhD dissertation examines the history of settler colonialism, capitalism, and the rise of state schooling in the Pacific Northwest between 1849 and 1925.
He is also a founding member of the Graphic History Collective (www.graphichistorycollective.com), an author of many historical comics, and the popular culture columnist for Canadian Dimension Magazine.
