How To Get There

Crater Lake is located in south-western Oregon.  From Vancouver, travel south on Interstate 5, then turn off onto Highway 138 in Roseburg, Oregon.  The park is approximately a ten hour drive from SFU.  That is the most direct way.  However, it is important to note that there are far more scenic routes that don't involve boring interstate travel.  For example, taking any eastern road (ie, Hwy 1 from Vancouver, Hwy 90 from Seattle, or Hwy 30 from Portland) to Hwy 97 south will provide a somewhat slower, though seemingly infinitely more scenic route through the cascade volcanoes.
