Spatial Analysis
The
following maps are drawn using fuzzy.
Color scheme represents landslide susceptibility of the area. The greener it gets, the higher
landslide susceptible is, and black represents lowest susceptibility.
Examining the maps, this particular
location ¡°Boun¡± region is a highly landslide susceptible area. Especially, the West end of the area of
the map is the most susceptible due to its higher slope, low tree density,
small tree diameter and age, and high fault compared to any other part of the
map area. Because there are such
strong evidences that the West end of the map is the most susceptible to
landslide, stronger reinforcement for landslide prevention effort need to be
put in to the area. Human
residential development needs to be prevented from building around this area, and
if it must be done, then there is great need for landslide protection
techniques in order to prevent the landslide and minimize the effect if it
occurs.
