Results and Conclusions:

    The final map showing the suitable new locations for the Molson Indy was obtained by adding vector layers for the major roads and the municipality outlines.  I also labelled the identified sites 1, 2 and 3.
 

    Observing the results, we see that there are two available locations in West Vancouver and one in Richmond.  Further analysis is required by various stakeholders (ie: city planners and officials, event promoters, and community residents) to decide which is the optimal location for the Molson Indy Vancouver.  Perhaps some issues that should be taken into consideration by the stakeholders are:

• Is there going to be great disruption of the community at the time of the event?
• Is there adequate access to the event (through public transit and major road networks)?
• Is development likely to occur in the future on or near the proposed site?
