Expected Results

We hypothesize that this methodology will highlight areas of BC that are under-serviced for palliative care. Appropriate locations for regional palliative care hubs will be determined based on the results of the multi-criteria evaluation which will rank locations for suitability, and the validation provided by the Bayesian analysis. Overall, this study will provide much needed information to accurately allocate resources in a time of increasingly stretched health budgets.
