The
Digital Elevation Model (DEM) layers of the GVRD were obtained through LandData
BC under the Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management. Two sets of data were
acquired due to the initial uncertainty on which resolution suits the project
best. These were 25 m and 20 m grid size DEM layers in ESRI grid format. There
has been minimum manipulation of data on this part of the project aside from
defining the projection of layers.
