Structure of FAME Graduate Student Network

The FAME Network will be directed by a committee composed of two co-chairs and two departmental liaisons from each participating school. This committee will oversee the attainment of the Network's objectives as stated in the Mission Statement.  Communication will occur via email, except at the annual conference, where departmental representatives will meet in person.

To ensure continuity upon graduation, each departmental representative will be responsible for passing on their position to another graduate student as they graduated.  The co-chair positions will consist of one Canadian and one American student, and these positions will rotate among the participating schools.

In the future, the FAME Network could be divided into regional chapters, including West Coast, East Coast and International sections, depending on the Network's growth.

The current co-chairs of the FAME Network are:
Jaclyn Cleary, Resource and Environmental Management,
Simon Fraser University (Canada)  jcleary@sfu.ca
Neala Kendall, School of Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences,
University of Washington (USA) kendalln@u.washington.edu
