Robert Weston
BA Economics, 1978
Robert Weston (BA’78) is getting involved again with SFU, after completing his degree over 36 years ago. Robert was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the SFU Alumni Association. During his degree, Robert was very involved with the Economics Student Society and the Faculty of Arts Curriculum Committee.
After graduating with a double major in Economics and Commerce in 1978, Robert has become a specialist in labour relations and human resources in health and education sectors. Now he is the Director of Human Resources with the New Westminster School District.
Robert has been keeping ties with SFU. Two of Robert’s four children are SFU Alumni and his son is a PhD Candidate in the Department of English.
As Robert joined the Alumni Association Board of Directors in 2014, he will be representing SFU Alumni during SFU’s 50th anniversary in 2015. Robert’s involvement as a Director will be appreciated during SFU’s celebrations.
