Facilities
Capilano College has one small windowless rock storage room, and one shared classroom. There is no place for students to study rock samples or maps outside of class. There is no computer for the lab room, and only library access to a computer that might show power point, likewise no projector.
The rock collection and fossil collection are good and adequate, although they could be stored more conveniently.
4. Issues/Challenges
Yearly budget includes funding for one bus for one fieldtrip in the fall, and nothing else.
There is no support for Geology to improve. Students cannot study outside class.
Scheduling is constrained by ridiculous rules so timing of the classes is odd contributing to student loss.
