Eva Sajoo

Eva Sajoo is a university instructor with a passion for writing and history. She has taught in a variety of university settings both in Canada and abroad. Her previous research includes a focus on diasporic communities, especially the ways that culture and identity are transmitted in third generation immigrant families. Her published academic work also includes research on the nexus of religious identity and education in secular states. In addition to teaching and research, Eva runs the Villains and Virgins history podcast, and is a jazz songwriter and vocalist.

She holds a master’s degree in education and international development from the University of London, and a B.A. in history from Simon Fraser University.
