Faiza Hirji holds a B.A. in Communication from Simon Fraser University, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. from Carleton University’s School of Journalism and Communication.  Faiza spent the summer of 2002 working in the ATIC lab on projects involving gender, health and the Internet, among other topics. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Humanities, McMaster University.
