Maggie is a doctoral student in the School of Communication. Interested in new media technologies, her research emphasizes the social constructedness of technologies as well as the ways they have been mobilized by social movements related to gender, sexuality, the environment and health. She received an MA in Communication Studies from Carleton University and a BA in Rhetoric, Writing and Communication from the University of Winnipeg.
