Biography
Sophie’s research combines applied terrestrial ecology, hydrology, biogeochemistry and micrometeorology to evaluate fire risk, behaviour and effects in peatlands and forests across Canada. She is particularly interested in ecological resilience to cumulative effects and changing disturbance regimes driven by climate change.
