Arne Mooers and colleagues in the news

Dr. Arne Mooers teamed up with Research Associate Tom Martin of the Wild Planet Trust and undergraduate Gareth Bennett to document how many bird, mammal, reptile and amphibian species have been missing for over 50 years. They documented over 562, nearly twice the number declared extinct — a discrepancy with conservation implications.
