"Fossil discovery deepens snakefly mystery"

Bruce Archibald (SFU) and Vladimir Makarkin of the Russian Academy of Sciences, recently discovered fossil species from a group of insects known as snakeflies.

The findings, published in Zootaxa, raise questions about the evolutionary history of the insects and why they live where they do today, according to an article by Braden McMillan in SFU News.
