Gries Lab Students Continue Award-Winning Spree at the Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of Canada in Saskatoon!
Gries Lab graduate and undergraduate students once again distinuished themselves and impressed the crowd at the Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of British Columbia, in Saskatoon!
The Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of Canada had four available spots, nation-wide, available for the Graduate Student Showcase. Competition might have been tough, but Saif Nayani and Asim Renyard were both elected to present!
In their respective presentation symposiums, Emmanuel Hung received the President's Prize and Claire Gooding received the Runner-Up Award! Great work!
Saif Nayani, Asmin Renyard, Emmanuel Hung, and Claire Gooding all received Ed Becker JAM Participation awards!
Kendal Singleton received the ESC John H. Borden Scholarship and the ESC Postgraduate Scholarship! Wow!
The hard work, dedication, and passion that these students exhibited undeniably made the Annual Meeting an unforgettable event. SFU Biological Sciences is incredibly proud to have such motivated and engaged students participate and represent themselves and SFU across Canada.
