Marine Science Courses
Marine Science courses are offered in conjunction with the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre on Vancouver Island. MSc and PhD students can use these courses for graduate course credit with the recommendation of their Supervisory Committee.
Directed Studies Courses:
MASC 500
A graduate level course of directed studies under the supervision of a member of faculty. The study will involve a research project approved by the supervisor in the field of interest of the student, and will be designed to take maximum advantage of the laboratory and/or field opportunities offered by the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre.
Special Topics Courses
MASC 501, 502 & 503 (3 weeks)
MASC 504, 505 & 506 (6 weeks)
Course offered, as opportunities arise, by distinguished scientists who are visiting the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre and are prepared to offer a course extending over either a three or six week period.
