Panayiotis A. Pappas

Hello, and thanks for checking out my website. I have been at SFU since 2002 and I was promoted to Associate Professor in 2009. I received my PhD from The Ohio State University, Dept. of Linguistics, under the supervision of Prof. Brian D. Joseph, one of the smartest, most caring, and honest people I know. I am also a graduate of St John's College, a small school that provides a unique education based on the Canon of Western thought. I have taught at Texas A&M where I was a visiting professor in the Dept. of English in 2001-2002, and at the University of Cyprus, Dept. of English Studies where I taught and conducted research in 2007 and 2010-2011.

This site contains both professional and personal information. My plan is to collect in one place what I know about linguistics and the world. It's not as much as other people know, but I hope it will be useful to you.
