Call for Proposals
Small Grant proposals (up to $50,000) are now being accepted; the closing date is September 28, 2016 (16:00 CDT). This will be the final closing date to apply for a Small Grant for the 2016 year.
Studentship applications (up to $60,000) are being accepted; the closing date is October 19, 2016 (16:00 CDT).
Conference Grant applications (up to $2,000) are accepted year-round. Only Manitoba researchers and students are eligible to apply for Conference Grants. Applicants do not have to be presenting at the conference to be eligible.
Dates for Canadian Gambling Conferences:
BCLC's New Horizons in Responsible Gambling (held in Vancouver) February 20-22, 2017.
RGC's Discovery (held in Toronto) April 18-20, 2017.
The Manitoba Gambling Research Program supports the development of high quality research that enables evidence-based advancement of responsible gambling programs, and problem gambling prevention and treatment. Research opportunities are available for researchers across Canada.
