NSERC representatives Enikö Megyeri-Lawless and Guillaume Romain are holding an information session about their Discovery Grants Program at SFU on July 5th, 2017.
NSERC's vision is to make Canada a country of discoverers and innovators for the benefit of all Canadians. Some of their top priorities are to foster a science and engineering culture in Canada; to launch and support the next generation of trained scientists and engineers; and to build a diversified and competitive research base.
In this context, their session will focus on: 1) Providing future applicants with some useful tips about how to apply and prepare an application and 2) Highlighting news and developments at NSERC. It could also include: 3) Presenting an overview about the Discovery Grants Program results for the 2017 competition and 4) Presenting an overview of part of NSERC’s program suite.
NSERC would also like to hear from researchers about any additional topics they would like covered during the visit. Please provide your input when you RSVP for the event via the link below.
