No such problem in our production 7.1.2 or test 7.1.3.

Other ways to check Emailed Contacts include clicking on the To: button in a compose window and zmmailbox gaf.

You could also try /zimbra/h/ client or firebug or tailing mailbox.log or zmprov aal.
