On April 12, 1961, after almost orbiting the Earth, Uri Gagarin jumped out of his Vostok space capsule at 7000 meters with a simple plan: Land his parachute and find a phone. I also remember 1961 for the once in a lifetime novelty of being able to turn your exercise book upside down and still see the same number for the year.

This is a recording, without overdubs, processing, etc. of the piece. Fretless MIDI guitar (Godin) and electronics.
