| This is a documentation of a telematic work with choreography by Ted Warburton (UC Santa Cruz) and Lisa Naugle (UC Irvine). The movement of the student dancers at both sites was translated via the video machine vision system of John Crawford (UC Irvine) and the data was used to control my GitM autonomous composition system. This is a recent example of my research into systems for dance preformance that have been ongoing since 1985 - and in collaboration with John Crawford since the early 1990's. |
