Petri Net Semantic Web Infrastructure
This project was created in the context of the research efforts of the GoodOldAI reasearch group.
Project overview
The goal of the project is to research the use of Petri nets on the Semantic Web. The main research goals are:
- research of current ways for sharing Petri net models: formats and ontologies
- development of the Petri net ontology (in RDFS and OWL languages) that supports different Petri net dialects
- development of a set of transformations between the Petri net ontology and the ongoing Petri net XML-based sharing effort - Petri Net Markup Language (PNML)
- support of creating ontology-aware RDF-annotated Web documents - Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG)
- development of a Petri net tool that supports the Petri net ontology
- development of an ontology-aware educational Web-based application for teaching Petri nets
