  1. Explain the demographic transition model and place your country within the context of this model. What are the economic consequences of your country’s position within this three-stage model? What economic and non-economic arguments best explain the transitional process?

 

  1. Explain the development process in Canada circa 1897-1914, and what lessons may apply to your country.
