Insect-Robot Workshop

In March 2017, a group of grade 6-7 students visited the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS) at SFU. As part of their visit, a one-hour workshop was developed for these students. During this workshop students worked in teams of two to build their own insect robot while learning about the basic operation of electric motors. This workshop was developed in collaboration with FAS-Outreach program and my visiting scholor from University of Isfahan, Iran, Dr. Kamal Shahtalebi.

Instructional videos

I have created some instructional videos for some of the courses that I teach. Here are two samples:

Video clip , showcasing a few of of ENSC graduate students whose research involved measurement and statistical analysis. I play this video during the first or second lecture of each semester for students in 280 (Engineering measurement and data analysis), so they can see how what they are about to learn in this course can be applied to advanced research topics.

Video clip teachig how to generate a histogram of a set of data using MATLAB. (The above videos are created with the help of SFU student Yinan Liu)
