SFU STAR is part of SFU's Point of Care Health Technology (PCHT) team and participates in research forums throughout the year. For example, STAR participated in a research forum at the Brock House Seniors Society in Kitsilano in early 2019. Research trainees from PCHT and SFU STAR connected with members and seniors of Brock House so Brock House members could learn about emerging care health technologies and research findings through a series of short presentations. Each presentation was followed by a Q&A period with a chance to see prototypes of upcoming technology.
