FOLDER 19 COMMENTARY
1. Walk begins outside in the parking lot, car passes at 0:15, enter Walmart at 0:48, background Muzak playing throughout, I walked through the centre of the store toward the mall entrance, but turned around once I realized that the rest of the mall was closed (!), and walked through the shoes section and women's clothing section before exiting from the main entrance, various voices throughout, PA announcement and child shouts at 2:40, PA announcement at 2:58, PA announcement at 3:50, someone pushing a buggy at 4:00, I realize the mall is closed at 4:15, buggies smash together at 4:50, I walk outside at 5:10, track ID @ end.
2. Track ID @ intro, sitting on a park bench, (this track needs to be normalized), various voices throughout.
3. Same place as above with an increased record level, bird chirping in tree nearby, car in distance at 0:51, footsteps on path at 1:20, runner on path at 1:40, yell in the distance at 2:25, voices of people on the path at 2:30.
4. Track ID @ intro, police siren from a distance, voices in the distance - pedestrians on a nearby path, footsteps, lots of reflections of the sirens off the lake, conversation at 4:15, loud siren at 5:15, sirens fade by 5:45, ambient traffic throughout.
