Of the seven
sequences, numbers 4, 5 and 6 are the most likely to
have been heard in all 10 steps, or at least the largest
number. They are the 1, 2 and 4 kHz frequencies which
turn out to be the ones where our ears are most
sensitive. You probably also noticed that the
first tone is each sequence was also the loudest at
those frequencies. |
