Thanking SFU frontline staff during COVID-19
Although most of the SFU community is working and learning from home due to COVID-19, there are many SFU staff still supporting vital university systems from the Burnaby campus.
“While our campuses have gone very quiet, we have a very dedicated team of people on site to support everything from cleanliness and security to payroll and IT services,” says Martin Pochurko, vice-president, finance and administration. “We are thankful for everyone that continues to work, especially those whose behind-the-scenes efforts are sometimes overlooked.”
In this story series, we’re recognizing the efforts of staff who are working tirelessly through this pandemic to support the SFU community.
