NFI 901/902 trolleys and a few diesel buses lined up at Oakridge Garage. 80 of the trolleys will go to Argentina (most likely Mendoza) where 50 of the will be rebuilt for service. The remaining 30 are being kept for parts. The remainder of the New Flyers are destined for the scrap heap. Note the wet pavement; it rained for most of the fan trip and it was cold for the end of April. Photo by R. C. DeArmond. 27 APR 2008.
2040 is leading the parade of the three trolleys being used: 2040, 2704 and 2805. 2040 is being driver by our fearless driver, Angus. Photo by R. C. DeArmond. 27 APR 2008.
2840 may be the last "ghost" trolley, i.e. it was painted white awaiting the final paint scheme, which never occurred. Photo by R. C. DeArmond. 27 APR 2008.
2897 is painted in what I would consider an outrageous advertisement display. Photo by R. C. DeArmond. 27 APR 2008.
2704, which TRAMS is hoping to keep as an alternate New Flyer, is ready for the fan trip parade. Photo by R. C. DeArmond. 27 APR 2008.

2704, 2040 and 2805 lined up for a photo stop on E. 6x Ave, part of the terminal loop for the 3 Main. I believe the person bending over by 2040 is Derek Cheung, our second-in-line fearless driver. Photo by R. C. DeArmond. 27 APR 2008.
The three fan trolleys at Blanca Loop. 2704 and 2040 are signed for the original termini of routes 4 and 10. Today both the 4 and the 17 (né #10) terminate at UBC. Some runs may short turn on their way to or from the Vancouver Transit Centre. 2805 is signed as 9 Brentwood. More than thirty years ago the 9 was proposed to be extended from the Boundary Loop to Brentwood. When the Flyer 901/902s arrived, they were fitted with a Brentwood destination sign as well as a few others. But eastward extensions did not occur. Photo by R. C. DeArmond. 27 APR 2008.
