Notes on Shanghai 4

Shanghai's trolley-bus route 126 began
to detour during the upgrade
construction a 1.04 km sewage system on Changlê Road which
required total road closure. The construction and detour started
on Dec 9 and will last till April of 2001. The details of the
detour are as following:
Eastbound trips from Kai'xuan (Victory) Raod to Xin'kai'hê, starting EB on Chang'lê Road, NB on Mao'ming Road, EB on Ju'lu Road (one block to the north and parallel to Chang'lê Road), SB on Chong'qing Road, back to route EB on Jinling Road . Temporary overehead is required for the entire stretch of the detour.
Westbound trips from Xinkaihê to
Victory Road, starting WB on Jinling
Road, SB on Madang Road, WB on Fuxing Road, NB on Ruijin Road,
and back
to route WB on Changlê Road. Temporary overhead is only
required on SB
Ma'dang Road, as the rest can be "borrowed" from trolley
route 24.
