1952 CCF Brill 4108 on the 26 Beaubien line. Unlike other Brills 4108 had inward folding doors. It was the only Montréal trolleybus to be charted--on the June 19th farewell tour. Photo by Peter Cox. 24 MY 1966.
Montréal 4042 is at the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa, the only survivor. 100 CCF Brills were sent to Mexico City, where they ran for another 20 years. 40540and 4058 were damaged in accidents around 1955. 4089 was sold to another Montreal-area operator, for a failed attempt at conversion to diesel-electric power; and 4067 was held until the early 1980s for possible preservation, but eventually scrapped.
