Merrill Trolley Photos

MY/JN 1913 -- Fall 1914

Merrill Field Electric Bus Co. trolleybus in 1913. This was the only trolley in the Merrill system. The system lasted just over a year closing in 1914. This vehicle was sent to a New Bedford businessman who ran it in Fairhaven, MA, where it lasted a very short period of time. Photographer unknown, submitted by Ken Josephson.
