Brill 8035 turning at 12th Street and Main St. It is believed that the split switch at the strteetcar junction is staged, perhaps for training purposed. Interesting that the trolley wires use the streetcar span wires here. The return wires do not appear to exist here, although according to the map by Paul Ward in The Trolley Coach in North America, the return wires did exist at this intersection. It is probable that the return wires had not been installed yet. Central Ave. was wired for trolleys whcih probably made this turn possible. Note the Acme signal on the corner.
