Philadelphia Routes

 Route  Name  Opened  Notes: All these lines are current not in service. This is supposed to be temporary, but everyone assume that the closure is final as the close of route 79 on 30 JN 03.
       
29 Morris- Tasker 14 DE 1947  Southern Depot. Replaced the T-M streetcar route and extended to 33rd. and Dickenson on a P. R. O. W. loop. .
59 Castor 25 JN 1950  Frankford Depot. Extended from 28th Ave. and Tasker to Dickinson St. (unknown date). 46-seat Marmon-Herringtons were assigned to this line.
66 Frankford 11 SE 1955  Frankford Depot. Extended from Gregg St. on 2 OC 1955 to city Line (Knights Road). Express serve began 24 SE 1962 with a third set of wires. A fourth set of wires was added later (unkown date). Service began with new Marmon-Herrington 48 seat trolleybuses. It was the only route operated by the City of Philadelphia. Streetcar service ended on 30 JL 1955. replaced temporarily with postwar Macs. Trolleybus overhead construction began on 2 AU 1955.
75 Wyoming 19 AP 1948 Frankford Depot.  The only main portion of route 75 that followed the former streetcar line (75) was from Richmond and Orthodox to 5th and Wyoming. Route 75 trolleybuses were then rerouted on Wyoming Avenue through Logan to Wayne Junction (Wayne and Roberts Avenue) to connect with the Broad Street subway at Wyoming, the Reading Railroad's commuter trains, and PCC routes 23 and 53. Cutback from Bridesburg to Frankford on 13 AP 1966.
79 Delaware-Snyder  18 JN 1961 Southern Depot. The last line to be converted to trolleybuses, it used the surplus ACF-Brill TC-44s left over trom the Oregon and Ridge route conversions to buses.
