System originally opened in 1940, but the earlier routes were dieselized several years ago. All four of the routes listed here are long suburban routes, connecting Naples with outlying communities. ANM is one of two independent and publicly owned trolleybus systems. There is a physical connection in the overhead and they share a very small amount of wire, looping around the Piazza Carlo, III a large public square. | |||
