S-1459-1 The interior of 1459. Note that this trolleys has 2+1 seating. This arrangement was found on the local trolleys in Simferopol and Yalta while the interurban trolleys ad 2+2 seating. The roll sign does read "12 Yalta", but it is probable that all Simferopol trolleys had roll signs for the interurban route. Route 12 is now route 52. Routes 11-15 on the interurban route were renumbered 51-55. This was done so that Simferopol could add more routes which would be in consecutive order. Information by Sergei Fedosof. S-Y-4000 Bogdan T701.15 #4400 leading 4410 and 4402. The operator has ordered 60 of these vehicles: 30 for urban use and 30 for the interurban lines. Structurally the same as the T701.15, the T7-1.10 are for city operation in Simferopol. The T701.15 can be used for urban routes if necessary because it has three doors. All of them have electrical works by Cegelec. However, the T701.10 has DC motors from Electrotjazhmash, whereas the T701.15 has Pragoimex three-phase motors. Photo by Aleksander. 29 JAN 2011.
