Help select the 2024 Uggla Family Scholars
The Uggla Family Scholarship is looking for application readers! We seek a diverse group of readers who are professional staff at the university.
This full-ride entrance scholarship is awarded to students who face significant financial barriers. The intent of the scholarship is to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion and remove historical and existing discrimination, including barriers to full participation in social, cultural, economic, and political life.
The time commitment to support this effort is as follows:
- One of each:
* EDI Training Workshop facilitated by Radius (2 Hours - online)
* 1:00 - 3:00PM on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024
* 1:00 - 3:00PM on Monday, January 22nd, 2024
* Rubric Training Workshop (1.5 Hours - online)
* 1:00 - 2:30PM on Thursday, January 18th, 2024
* 1:00 - 2:30PM on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024
- Application reading (approximately 3 to 4 hours)
*January 29th - February 8th
