Faculty and Staff Townhall for What’s Next: The SFU Strategy

On March 23, join President Joy Johnson and members of the executive team to learn about our shared future.

After months of extensive consultation and planning, the moment has arrived to launch What's Next: The SFU Strategy. Faculty and staff are invited to hear from senior leaders across the university about the four key priorities that will shape SFU in the coming years, creating a crucial framework to guide individual and collective decision making, resource allocation and accountability.

These priorities will be advanced by the following co-leads:

1. Advance Truth and Reconciliation: Co-led by President Joy Johnson and Chris Lewis, Director of Indigenous Initiatives and Reconciliation
2. Engage in Global Challenges – Co-led by Dugan O’Neal, Vice President, Research & International and Dean Ujwal Kayande, Beedie School of Business
3. Make a Difference for BC – Co-led by Joanne Curry, Vice President, External Relations and Kevin Oldknow, Senior Advisor to the Provost
4. Transform the SFU Experience – Co-led by Yabome Gilpin-Jackson, Vice President, People, Equity and Inclusion and Rummana Khan Hemani, Vice Provost and Associate Vice President Students & International
