Remembering SFU Professor Emeritus David Gagan

It is with sadness that we share the passing of David Gagan, on May 31, 2021 at his home in Burlington, Ontario.
Gagan, professor emeritus in SFU’s Department of History, was a leader in Canadian quantitative social history as well as family and medical history. He retired in 2005 and served as provost and vice-president, academic in the late 1990s.
